1.) It was a positive and negative. Napolean defended the Royalists.
2.)He didn't win the Battle of Trafalagar.
3.)Because, Napolean was the reason they became unstable.
1. Britain, Russia, Prussia, and Sweden joined forces and went against him. Ausstria also declared war against him.
2. He hired untrained and ill prepared troops that were no where near ready for battle.
3. He was a great leader and a great man, but he had to many loses to keep him. Also he lowered taxes which made the peoplee happy.
1.Napoleon’s enemies were quick to take advantage of his weakness. Britain, Russia,Prussia, and Sweden joined forces against him. Austria also declared war on Napoleon. All of the main powers of Europe were now at war with France.

another army.most of his troops were untrained and ill prepared for battle.He faced the allied armies of the European powers outside the German city of
Leipzig in October 1813. The allied forces easily defeated his inexperienced army and French resistance crumbled quickly.

1.) He believed strongly in France and cared for his country. Nationalism helped bring France together and helped his empire.
2.) Napoleon suffered a great loss at the Battle of Trafalgar, and he didn't win all of his battles, he just kept the losses he had out of the newspapers.
3.) Napoleon did fix many things that were wrong with their country's government, and he was a good ruler.

1.)Napolean expanded his empire so much that he had to have one set of rules for about 5 different groups of people. People started to dislike his for his one set of rules.
2.) Napolean attacked Russia, but after actually getting to Russia they had already burned their own city down themselves. When Napolean left his guard down and retreated, the Russians attacked them. They came back with only 10,000 soliders.

1. He had alot of different group's of people and culture so his people didnt like his rules. they wanted to do what they wanted.
2. He signed a peace treaty with his neighboring countries. so basicly he was using them to help protect his country. They attacked from behind when they were leaving.

1. His nationalism caused a culture clash between his many cultured empire. Thus, making them grow angry due to their own nationalism.
2. His thoughts became fogged more as he gained more power. Attempting to get portugal, he sent an invasion force through spain and of course the Spanish protested and ambushed his troops which he wasn't prepared for. Then he tried invade Russia, the scorched earth policy reduced their food supply and killed off more of his men, during the battle, the russians ambushed them.
3) To govern his own darn country and maintain their power at home.
1.He had all the countries and all of the different cultures too.
2.He keep on making costly mistakes.
3.They wanted him to return so they had more control over all the countries around France.
1) Nationalism is loyalty to owns country. Many people that were once loyal to Napoleon were now starting to get irritated by him and they began turning on him.
2) He made some very costly mistakes in battles and conflicts that eventually caused him to lose his empire. If he was a military genius he wouldn't have made these mistakes.
3) Napoleon brought power and rest to France, so in that way they would want him to return. However, they would be more likely to have him rule with a constitutional monarchy so he doesn't try to take advantage of all the neighboring countries.
